Toxicity: Ivy is mildly poisonous if eaten and is toxic to cats, dogs, and horses. Children under five are most at risk from plant poisoning 

• Low maintenance: Pole ivy is a low-maintenance houseplant that can grow in most indoor conditions, including offices and homes.
• Light: Pole ivy can tolerate low light but does well in direct light.
• Watering: Water pole ivy about once a week until water drains from the holes. Allow the water to drain thoroughly to prevent root rot

The botanical name for pole ivy is Epipremnum aureum, also known as pothos.
